"As an internal medicine physician (myself), I felt decently comfortable with rashes. When my 12-week-old son developed a diaper rash, I used Desitin recommended by my pediatrician. However, the rash continued to progress, to the point of severe redness / skin desquamation. I was absolutely distraught, with the baby screaming with each diaper change. My pediatrician felt it was a fungal infection and prescribed Clotrimazole, which I used religiously without improvement. Thankfully, I reached out to Dr. Zilberstein and she came to the rescue!
